I use Linux Mint 10 “Julia”. After I installed apache, rewrite module was disabled by default. We need to do some configuration to enable it. It’s easy 🙂
Here I describe the steps to enable rewrite module (mod_rewrite)
Move to apache folder. Type :
Enable mod_rewrite. Type :
sudo cp mods-available/rewrite.load mods-enabled/
Then edit overriding configuration on /etc/apache2/sites-available/000-default.
We can edit it with editor like nano or gedit, suit your self . If you choose nano editor, you could do it by type :
sudo nano /etc/apache2/sites-available/000-default
Find the following :
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride None Order allow, deny allow from all
and change it to :
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride all Order allow, deny allow from all
Finally, restart your Apache by type
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
Leave your comment please 🙂
I used dual boot on my computer. The first one is for Windows 7 and the other is Linux. But then I removed Linux from my computer for some reasons. Even though I installed Linux again in my computer. There was a problem in booting of my computer. It wasn’t able to boot on Windows, although there is still Windows 7 OS on it. It was because the grub loader was in my Linux, but then I removed it. Of course it wouldn’t boot :-p
So I have to fix the grub loader. It is easy to do it. Follow this step:
Done! You will have your Windows 7 Booting normal again..
Kids stuff :-p
We usually don’t add images on our email. Maybe because we don’t really need to do it or because we’re too lazy :-p
But, in gmail, there is a simple way to add images on our email. Yet, it is only can be done by using Google Chrome.
It’s simple as you copy and paste images on document.
Here it’s to do it:
Browse the images that you want to send.
Right click in the image, choose copy image. And then paste it to your composed email.
See, it’s easy 🙂
One man has the power to make change.
Let’s come together to change the world.
You have the power to make it happen 🙂
At 8:30 PM on Saturday 26th March 2011 (local time), lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour and people will commit to actions that go beyond the hour.
With Earth Hour almost upon us, our thoughts are with the people of Japan during this incredibly challenging and sad time for their country.
This year, I will also participate for this action. I and the administrators of Programming Laboratory of ITS Informatics Engineering will turn off all electricity in our lab, including our server computers. Also we will have another activity instead.
You could also participate in Earth Hour movement this year. Whether you are an individual, a business, a school or a city, Earth Hour 2011 is your Earth Hour. And you can show your support for the planet in the following ways:
Speedier, Simpler, and Safer..
For me, the most interesting thing that chrome has developed is the setting interface. You could easily find what you want to set just by type the keyword in the search box in the option menu. And it just like you browse the website, it means that you could go to specific setting menu by type the url in the browser. Simple! 🙂
